While seemingly straightforward, good editing is something that can't be done by just anybody with a laptop and copy of Final Cut Pro. Aside from the vast amount of technical hurdles to keep the workflow kink-free from start to finish, a good editor can fix problems, enhance performances, and distinguish your project from the rest of the pack.

CREATIVE COLOR GRADING
color correction, color grading, and digital intermediate (DI) are terms that refer to the process of conforming your project back to the original camera negatives (film or digital) and creatively altering the look of the project. This step is one of the most important steps in finishing your film by enhancing or changing the colors within each shot to help tell the story better, dial in the DP and director's looks from set, match shots, and fix any problematic color/exposures.
Once the color correction process is completed, the master digital files must be rendered and output. This is an intensive process and requires high-end software and hardware to ensure maximum quality. We can deliver many file types for the online edit including, but not limited to:
HD, 2K, 4K, 8K, 12K, Apple Prores, Avid DNxHD, DPX, Cineon, DCP, Uncompressed.
After the individual master files are rendered out properly, the last step is the online edit. In this step, the final sound mix is married to the color corrected video. Titles, transitions, and edit effects are applied, and the final clips are ready for outputting to deliverables. litePOST, inc. has the capabilities to create your final output ready for delivery in your digital format of choice. We have the capabilities to deliver to DCP file for theatrical delivery, eliminating the need to go to expensive post-houses for this final step to the big screen.
F2BMG uses the world-renowned correction software Davinci Resolve. Utilizing high-end hardware and this powerful software, there is no limit to the creative options for the look of your film. We work in a calibrated environment to ensure precise and dependable results.
